02 · Why Winad exists
An agency quoted us €8,500 — to supervise.
Their proposal was ten weeks of requirements, tickets and reviews. They wouldn't write a line of code — we would do the actual building. The fee was for watching.
So I did the entire job myself instead — nights and weekends, inside two weeks: the rebuild, the SEO architecture, the structured data, all of it. Before our follow-up meeting, I sent them my results.
They moved the meeting. Then never rebooked it.
That's when I understood: adventure operators are being quoted agency prices — and quarter-long timelines — for work a builder finishes in weeks. Winad exists to be the other kind of vendor — the one who builds the thing.
And to be clear: the timeline isn't the price. The machine behind it — the audits, the battle maps, the build system — comes from eight years inside one adventure operator, and fifteen in digital marketing. That's what you're hiring.
